 어린 시절 학교에서부터 노래를 부르기 시작했던 켄 부스(Ken Boothe)는 1950년 후반부터 녹음 작업을 시작했다. "Stranger & Ken", "Roy & Ken" 등의 듀오로 싱글 튠들을 발매하며 커리어를 쌓던 그는 1966년 스튜디오 원(Studio One)과 계약하면서 솔로 활동을 시작했다. 
 그의 대표곡이라고도 할 수 있는 Freedom Street은 1970년에 발매되었으며 본 포스팅에 수록 된 앨범은 1998년에 4개의 트랙이 더 추가되어 재발매된 버전이다. 
 은근히 신나는 튠들.. 이게 내가 레게를 좋아하는 가장 큰 이유 중 하나이다.
