독특한 창법, 반항아적인 언행으로 90년대 전 세계적으로 유명해진 그녀.
레게장르에 영향을 받으며 본인 스스로 Rastafarian임을 자청한다.
본인은 Rasta 앨범이라 지칭하는 Reggae 앨범도 한 차례 냈던

하지만 mother side는 각기 다르다는;;
이처럼 음악의 한 장르에 있어서
한 가족(The Marley Family)이 독점하다 시피하는 장르는 레게 뿐일 것이다.

밥말리와 바베이도스 어머니인, Lucy Pounder의 사이에서 태어난
줄리안 말리는 영국 런던에서 낳고 자라 자메이카를 오가며 음악활동을 한다.

California, Santa Barbara 에서 결성되었다.
Reggae-Rockers 로 불리우며 Micah Pueschel가 리드 보컬.

2004년부터 활동을 해오며
2006년에 New Roots EP, No Time For Rest,
2008년에 Sample This,
2010년에 Time Bomb 을 발매했다.

락 요소가 있기때문에 레게풍 음악에 낯설고 락에 익숙한 리스너들에게
권해볼만하다.
